The RNFJ acts as an advisor to the federal government on the language training needs of justice system professionals.
The RNFJ has one outcome in mind: that the Canadian justice system has the capacity to function equally in both official languages.
By developing collaborative approaches, the RNFJ aims to:
Increase the number of legal, jurilinguistic and didactic tools, enrich these tools and facilitate access to them for all professionals who want or need to offer justice sector services in both official languages;
Increase the number of training programs (post-secondary and on-the-job), while ensuring that existing programs are adapted and updated;
Increase the number of legal professionals able to offer services to clients in both official languages.
